The Trans-Pacific Partnership(quick overview)

The TPP(Trans-Pacific Partnership) effectively hands over basically the entire sovereignty of the US to multinational corporations. Basically allowing the removal of any and all laws and regulations that impede in any of these companies' profits, allowing them to sue over such regulations and have them changed while also allowing them to demand compensation for "profits lost" by any such regulations. Control of almost 80% of the US economy is being handed over to the parties involved. Obama claims that the TPP will increase jobs but that is a lie. The TPP makes outsourcing of labor exponentially easier by removing virtually all customs practices from imports and exports sent and received by parties involved in the TPP agreement. The way the TPP is written and what it entails upon further investigation could very well in some ways be considered treasonous in what it allows other countries control over in respect to current US policies and regulations.
Pharmaceutical companies will get an extended period of control over drugs patented, which effectively removes generic versions available to the people unable to pay for "name brand" prescription drugs from the market nearly twice as long. Which in itself could very well result in thousands of avoidable deaths and avoidable illnesses.
The TPP allows virtually EVERYTHING to be patented and controlled by corporations involved. Also, in regards to patent and copyrights, allows for the removal of all patent and copyright protection prior to the TPP becoming active if any parties involved so choose to do it.
There is also the potential(almost a certainty to be allowed given the way this agreement is written) for the allowance of labor laws and safety regulations to be removed and also lower quality of testing and requirements for drug research and patents.
TPP potentially allows pharmaceutical companies that treat illnesses such as cancer or AIDS to sue for projected lost profit for treating those illnesses.
There is also a vaguely written section which practically allows any corporation to sue for infringement without actually owning any registered property.
Any information that can be obtained from your ISP would now be legally allowed to be demanded by governments and any involved corporations.
Any involved corporations would be allowed to withhold information about their products as they see fit.
Before I end this post i want to to base on one more thing about the customs section, which basically encompasses a good majority of the TPP and what it allows. Imports and exports would no longer be subject to customs checks. Now to me, I see that as a huge back door for even more illegal activities a cast majority of these involved countries and the corporations that basically run them are already a part of. Meaning illegal or banned goods/substances being hidden within imports and exports more so than it already happens as a result of not having to worry about any customs duties. I hope I am not the only one who sees that as a MAJOR red flag in itself. Nevermind the fact that the entire TPP is written so poorly/vaguely that it allows any and all corporations involved free reign to do whatever they want and be able to remove any barriers that would "impede profit".

There is simply too much to put into words, but this should give a basic idea of how much of a catastrophic idea the TPP is and why Obama should NOT be given ability to sign it. Our country is already on the verge of self-destruction, and he should not be allowed to seal that fate indefinitely.
