Trump is closely emulating Hitler(History repeats)

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here, but something has got to give. Trump is by far the WORST possible choice for an individual to run this country. His views on Latinos/Latinas as well as his views on Muslims are almost exactly the same as Hitler's views on Jews. Does that not bother anyone? Are some of you so afraid of what the media feeds you about how terrible the world supposedly is that you actually encourage this train of thought? This "man" being elected president will only result in one thing, World War III. His "trying to define what it means to be an American" is exactly like the pitch Hitler himself used to stir up the Germans, by "trying to define what it means to be German". History, to those who do not study it or learn from it, is doomed to repeat. His ideals of intense nationalism will lead to MORE hatred and malice. Turkey tried to do the same thing in the early 1900's and it lead to in large part, the Armenian genocide. Trump is no hero, no savior of this country. He will be a tyrant, and his orders will closely resemble that of Hitler. The holocaust was well thought out and premeditated, starting with intense nationalism and climaxing to a full on genocide of the Jewish people. Trump is feeding into the same idea, whether or not any of you want to admit it. This man is not worthy of the title of president, and should not have the power to send us spiraling into a third world war with his ill-formed ideas and corrupt beliefs. Continuing to point out that a man like this already existed once, Trumps ideas for badges and IDs for all Muslims is a page taken directly from Hitler's playbook. Please people, do some research on Hitler and the holocaust.. What Trump is saying and trying to do is no different and will only end in another world war, one which in the age of nuclear and biological weapons might be the last humanity will ever fight. Not because the US would win, rather because there would be no one left TO fight eachother in the aftermath of that.
Using fear and intense nationalism has so many people rallying with him, and it is the same thing that lead to Adolf Hitler's reign and ultimately to his undoing. He doesn't speak for Americans, he speaks for his own hatred and bigotry. Please think twice if you plan to vote for the tyrannous blowhard that is Donald Trump.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership(quick overview)

The TPP(Trans-Pacific Partnership) effectively hands over basically the entire sovereignty of the US to multinational corporations. Basically allowing the removal of any and all laws and regulations that impede in any of these companies' profits, allowing them to sue over such regulations and have them changed while also allowing them to demand compensation for "profits lost" by any such regulations. Control of almost 80% of the US economy is being handed over to the parties involved. Obama claims that the TPP will increase jobs but that is a lie. The TPP makes outsourcing of labor exponentially easier by removing virtually all customs practices from imports and exports sent and received by parties involved in the TPP agreement. The way the TPP is written and what it entails upon further investigation could very well in some ways be considered treasonous in what it allows other countries control over in respect to current US policies and regulations.
Pharmaceutical companies will get an extended period of control over drugs patented, which effectively removes generic versions available to the people unable to pay for "name brand" prescription drugs from the market nearly twice as long. Which in itself could very well result in thousands of avoidable deaths and avoidable illnesses.
The TPP allows virtually EVERYTHING to be patented and controlled by corporations involved. Also, in regards to patent and copyrights, allows for the removal of all patent and copyright protection prior to the TPP becoming active if any parties involved so choose to do it.
There is also the potential(almost a certainty to be allowed given the way this agreement is written) for the allowance of labor laws and safety regulations to be removed and also lower quality of testing and requirements for drug research and patents.
TPP potentially allows pharmaceutical companies that treat illnesses such as cancer or AIDS to sue for projected lost profit for treating those illnesses.
There is also a vaguely written section which practically allows any corporation to sue for infringement without actually owning any registered property.
Any information that can be obtained from your ISP would now be legally allowed to be demanded by governments and any involved corporations.
Any involved corporations would be allowed to withhold information about their products as they see fit.
Before I end this post i want to to base on one more thing about the customs section, which basically encompasses a good majority of the TPP and what it allows. Imports and exports would no longer be subject to customs checks. Now to me, I see that as a huge back door for even more illegal activities a cast majority of these involved countries and the corporations that basically run them are already a part of. Meaning illegal or banned goods/substances being hidden within imports and exports more so than it already happens as a result of not having to worry about any customs duties. I hope I am not the only one who sees that as a MAJOR red flag in itself. Nevermind the fact that the entire TPP is written so poorly/vaguely that it allows any and all corporations involved free reign to do whatever they want and be able to remove any barriers that would "impede profit".

There is simply too much to put into words, but this should give a basic idea of how much of a catastrophic idea the TPP is and why Obama should NOT be given ability to sign it. Our country is already on the verge of self-destruction, and he should not be allowed to seal that fate indefinitely.

Thoughts on Bernie Sanders

While many people are going to question why I am most likely only going to post about these 2 candidates, I am choosing to do so because it is looking like these 2 are the only ones that are truly making any headway in there campaigns.
That being said, let us continue to what this post is about. Independent party Senator of Vermont turned Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Foreign Policy:
For the most part he seems to have a good head on his shoulders in this area, though his views on American involvement and support of Obama's use of sanctions against Russia involving the Ukraine are bothersome. Yes, the situation is far from ideal and not going well but it is not the business or right of the US to continue to stick its nose in the business of other countries. The only thing that will truly come of it in the end is making more of an enemy of Russia than the US already has. Putin openly referred to President Obama as a child at the G20, which that in itself does not bode well for the future of US-Russian relations. Moving on, Sanders opposed the war in Iraq and calling the US getting bogged down in Afghanistan "a costly quagmire like Vietnam". He also believes that the fight against the Islamic State should be undertaken by countries like Saudi Arabia, which borders Iraq and has both the financial and military resources to fight the extremist group. To put it simply, the extremists in Muslim culture should be handled by the non extremists in said culture. Which I am inclined to agree with given the fact that a vast majority of the people kill by ISIS and the like are Muslims. America is stretched thin enough after the wars and financial fuckups of the bush administraion and should be focusing on recovering its own losses before trying to take on more tasks that do not directly involve the US to begin with.

Environment:
Sanders has warned against the severe impact of climate change and supports stringent measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Including tougher standards for new vehicles and offering some "politically unorthodox" ideas such as providing money to study carbon sequestration(the capture and long-term storage of carbon dioxide or other forms of carbon to either mitigate or defer global warming and avoid dangerous climate change.) in an effort to at least delay global warming and reduce our overall carbon footprint.

Same-Sex Marriage:
Strong supporter of same-sex marriage. Believing that it is the right of all US citizens to have total marriage equality. Not much more really needs to be said here, as there is no reason to argue his stand on it. He supports it, which is a big step for a politician in this day and age to be honest.

Immigration:
He supports Obama's executive action in 2014 shielding millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation. That is not actually all that bad a thing if citizenship wasn't almost as difficult to pass as some military training programs. A good chunk of whats on the test is things people born and raised here don't even fucking know about the country in which the reside. In that, he also called for reigning in the guest-worker program that provides many businesses with low-wage immigrant labor as he believes it fuels youth unemployment. Which is pretty accurate.

Healthcare:
Senator Sanders supports a Medicare-for-all single-payer health care system. Which in truth is actually a good idea. Single-payer health care countries have a lower overall tax on healthcare and also have FREE healthcare for all. To help put that into perspective I would like to talk about a recent study done by the World Health Organization that showed that women in the US have twice as many maternal deaths during childbirth(with the healthcare system currently in place) as countries that have single-payer FREE healthcare systems, such as Canada. Just a little food for thought there.

Lastly, we have
Economy:
Sanders supports increasing government spending on creating jobs and rebuilding the infrastructure of this country. He would also raise the federal minimum wage to $10/hour, and has before stated that $15/hour is reasonable. Now, before you start going into an uproar about how that is wrong and unfounded I'm going to try to get you to peer into reality through those narrow minds you've got there and point out that at $8.09/hour(current minimum wage), a single person would have to work upwards of 80 hours a week just merely to survive and pay bills. Realistically, in this day and age with what it costs just to live, $15/hour is actually appropriate as it would be a living wage. And to those complaining about how EMTs and such make that doing more than what some fast food worker does, it should be known that all wages would have to be increased proportionally to the increase in minimum wage. Meaning more money for those of you who make above minimum wage already.
He also proposed breaking up the nation's largest banks, saying the 6 biggest wield too much control over the economy, which is actually quite true if you bother to think about it. Proposing along with this, that we should bar banks' chief executives from serving on the Federal Reserve's 12 regional boards of directors, citing that their membership poses a conflict of interest and threatens to (further) undermine regulation of the financial services industry.
Finally, he adamantly opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership with Asian nations(the trade deal Obama championed). Asking, "Are you on the side of working people who would suffer as a result of this disastrous trade agreement, and seeing their jobs go to China and Mexico? Or are you on the side of corporate America and pharmaceuticals?" His opposition to the TPP is well-founded.
As a side not in the economy section of my post I want to add the Sanders believes in the decriminalization of marijuana. Which, truthfully, if done correctly would actually benefit the economic situation the country currently finds itself facing in a rather larger than most want to believe way.

My thoughts, in closing, are that honestly out of the candidates with highest potential to win, Bernie Sanders stands most sensible and capable of turning things around for this country. I will consider further write-ups of some other candidates, but at this time I am probably going to focus on posts on world events and other political issues outside of presidential candidate views and policies.

An update on the idiocy of Trump

So his genius idea is even more segregation, which work OH SO WELL when it was racial. He believes Muslims should carry ID cards stating their religion! Are you fucking kidding me?! Is this man trying to win the "World's most moronic and ignorant bigot" award?!? Not going to make a long post on this, but just let the fact that he genuinely believes yet another form of ignorant misinformed segregation is a great idea..

How I see the refugee situation.

Immediately following the Paris attacks, most of the US went into a panic and wanted to close all internal borders. Not close them against ISIS, but close them against those FLEEING FROM ISIS. Over 20 US governors are rejecting Syrian refugees. The attackers in the Paris attacks were born and raised in France. ISIS has proven to be able to get people ALREADY IN THE COUNTRY to do their bidding. They would not, DO NOT need to sneak in terrorists as refugees. Bringing up the idea being spouted that all Muslims are bad, a good chunk of the Syrian refugees are not Muslim and are in fact CHRISTIAN. Governor Ted Cruz in is ignorance to the pure idiocy of his thoughts stated that we should only allow the "good Christian refugees" in. That is ignorance and stupidity in its purest form. There are good and bad people in ALL faiths and ALL walks of life.
Governor Tom Wolf spoke rather eloquently on the topic saying, "We must not lose sight of the fact that families leaving Syria are trying to escape the same violence and unimaginable terror that took place in Paris and Beirut."
To put it a little more into perspective about why these refugees are not cause for the whole nation to be up in arms about their arrival lets discuss a bit more about who ISIS is targeting most. In the last 3 of 4 MAJOR attacks, they occurred at MOSQUES. 43 died in the mosque attack in Beirut, more at the attack in Iraq, and again in Saudi Arabia.
In a 2011 report on Al Queda, 82-97% of the victims were MUSLIM. Similar numbers are being reported about ISIS victims. The Muslims you all are concerned about are the wrong ones to be worrying about. They are FLEEING from ISIS. They are fleeing a country in which ISIS is killing vast amounts of other Muslims. Yes, there are victims of ISIS who are of other religions, but all in all the Muslim deaths at the hands of ISIS are overwhelmingly higher.
These people are fleeing to America because it is supposed to be a place of hope, of safety. America is supposed to be a land of many faiths but increasingly often we seem to lose sight of that. So absorbed in ourselves that we repeat history that burned us once before and hate the many for the acts of the few.
They simply want safety, not to ruin the country. They want a peaceful life, not a war zone where they live in constant fear. Many in the US now have family ancestry who fled war torn homelands and benefited from the safety and security offered by this very country. Or have we all forgotten World War II? To deny people in the same situation which many of the current US populations ancestry were once in is not only UN-American, it is pathetic and shameful.
Does the statue of liberty not have a plaque that reads:
"Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates
Shall stand a mighty woman with a torch,
whose flame is the imprisoned lightning,
and her name Mother of Exiles."?
Syrian refugees are being slaughtered and driven from their home country. Would you not call that exile? I would.
Continuing on, had we as a country heeded France's warning against going to war with Iraq.. There is a very good chance there would be no ISIS and by that effect, no refugees fleeing from ISIS and its relentless slaughter of innocent people.

I'm going to end with 2 final quotes. One more from a plaque on the statue of liberty, and one for the "Christians" to help those very closed minded people out there understand this better.

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
- Statue of Liberty plaque
Have they not proven to be tired, poor, huddled masses as well as homeless? Are we really so willing to turn against the ideals that our very country was founded on, thereby ensuring its destruction on a different path than what you claim will destroy it already? Can you deny the fact that by disregarding the very foundation of this country, we are not simply destroying it from the inside with our own fear and bigotry? Just think about it.

"Give justice to the weak and the fatherless;
Maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy;
Deliver them from the hand of the wicked"
- Psalm 82:3-4
I ask you, is ISIS not the wicked? Can you truly turn away people that can be defined as the weak and needy? Can you abide yourself doing so in the eyes of your God? Will you truly deny his word and fail to deliver these people from the wicked that is ISIS?

My thoughts on Trump

For starters, I'm going to open with saying that Donald Trump is a complete idiot and I legitimately have no idea how he has lasted in the runnings as long as he has. But, that isn't entirely true. I do know at least part of why and it is a sad reason in all honesty. It is simply because in spite of no one wanting to openly admit it, the vast majority of the people wanting to vote for him simply have no idea what is really going on in the world around him and agree with him simply because he is as dumb as they are and has no more going for him than being loud and pretty damn vulgar(which is ever so popular and American society nowadays).
Moving on, I would like to discuss some of his political views. Not so much discuss as state how ludicrous a lot of his policy ideas and beliefs are.

Foreign Policy:
Not only has he admitted that he does not have a foreign policy formulated yet, but he also believes that the US's European allies should confront Russia. A country, mind you, that just in sheer numbers in military personnel is enough to give pause to any rational person with thoughts of doing what Trump is "suggesting". Hitler had control over the armed forces of 5 countries, NOT including enlisted military from conquered countries(which would bring it to about 17), and STILL failed to take on Russia when he decided to turn against that particular ally. And as it stand now, the US is quite far from favor of many of its "allies". Meaning that not only is this highly unlikely to even be taken into consideration, but he would most likely be looked on as a bigger fool than Bush proved to be.

Immigration:
Being a first generation citizen himself(ironic considering his views on this topic), you would think he would have a better grasp of things. Sadly, this is not the case. His biggest reason for opposing legal status for undocumented immigrants is that it would be a "suicide mission" for the republican party because he believes they ALL would then vote democratic. Along with proposing to build "a real wall" to keep immigrants out. Not only is this a complete folly but also entirely hypocritical coming from a man whose entire clothing line is made in the country he wants to build a wall against(Mexico and in the case of some other Trump label products, China). Who would he have build this wall anyway? Considering his greed and hypocrisy, no doubt he would have the same immigrants he speaks out so loudly against build it to spend as little as possible on the wall construction and then attempt to deport them immediately after they are done. The man simply doesn't understand how to properly handle these policies either.

Same-Sex Marriage:
Oh here's a fun one. Claiming his views are "evolving" but that he still favors "traditional marriage"(between a man and a woman for those that don't keep up on such things), and states it isn't his "thing". Now to me that's just a bold face lie coming from a man who makes his living from bullshitting everyone. He is simply trying to garner favor with voters who are against him for his anti-marriage equality views. And personally, I'm not inclined to respect the views on marriage from a man who has been married 3 separate times.

Environmental Issues:
It just keeps getting better with him as I go down the list. Trump adamantly DENIES that climate change(which, yes, there is scientific proof of this, people) is occurring and calls it a hoax. Saying that those who warn of it only want to raise taxes, which no doubt he would do to the working class regardless to avoid having to make any of his rich little friends in big business pay more. He also tried to sue, UNSUCCESSFULLY, in 2013 to block plans for wind turbines in Scotland that would power over 60,000 homes. One of the main points in his legal argument was that the turbines would "mar the view" from the golf course he was proposing to build.

Last but definitely not least,
Economy and Budget:
This one I will keep short because there is simply too much stupidity to even wrap my brain around trying to explain in any truly sensible way. Suffice to say, he wants to pretend that the economic instability and almost imminent failure at the rate the dollar is declining, is the result of countries that export to the US, such as China and Japan, engaging in currency manipulation. Which yes, there may be some small weight to that. But the reality is, the decline of the dollar and all round economic decline is more the result of money spent on wars that should never ave been started to begin with and bailing out banks and large corporations instead of the hardworking taxpayers who actually needed the economic stimulus given to the banks. Had we given that money to the PEOPLE instead of the CORPORATIONS, we would be far and away better off.

I end this post by saying that, if you have at least half a brain and an ability to understand reason, you will now hopefully have a slightly better understanding of how much of an idiot Trump truly is and that this man in NO WAY deserves to be president.

See the problem? (media focus)

Religion isn’t the problem, hatred and using religion as an excuse to harm is.

There is so much I want to say about how ridiculously ignorant so many people are proving to be in light of everything currently going on in the world. For starters, let’s touch base on the idea so many neanderthalic ignorant minds are speaking so adamantly about pursuing. That idea being the death of the entirety of Islamic people. Not just the extremists killing and terrorizing under the guise of this religion, which was and still is by most practitioners of it a peaceful one. Ethnic cleansing, as anyone with a brain will tell you, has been tried before and solved nothing. It led to MORE wars and MORE deaths than it would have had the EXTREMISTS and ZEALOTS simply been removed or eradicated from the equation to begin with. This is not something anyone can truly say “they’re all terrorists and they started this” about. Mainly because it simply is not true. Most of the ignorant people I’ve seen speaking of doing this are either Catholic or Christian. So now it is time to point out that none of you have any room to speak on Islam being a violent religion, as yours is no different. Would you want the KKK to speak on behalf of Christianity? Or have the Spanish Inquisition remain how the world views Catholics? NO? Didn’t think so. Many of you will still scream about hating the terrorists and their religion for what they’ve done in spite of what I have pointed out to you. So I will move now to using your own bible verses, which it seems so many of you don’t even know your own religion enough to judge another’s worth in my honest opinion, to further make my point.

“But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:15

“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” Matthew 5:44

“Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” James 1:19-20

“Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.” Ephesians 4:31

“As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions.” Romans 14:1

I could easily go on and on and trying to point out the complete hypocrisy of this wasted hatred so many of you show, but I fear my words be wasted and fall only on deaf ears. So I say, in this end of my writings on this topic for today. Learn from yourselves and your own religions. Realize that your anger and hatred is misplaced on many innocents for the sake of condemning the ones who kill under guise of a religion they do not fully follow or understand. Do not forget that your own religions hands are not so clean as to allow you to point fingers in blame. Make understanding this a priority, and focus only on those who deserve the spite of all people who mean no harm in this world, and you’ll understand the bigger picture. That we are all one people, regardless of skin color, background, race, or even religion. Those who hurt and terrorize under the guise of religion and hatred are the ones to be stopped, not an entire group of people as result of the actions of the few. You speak on doing just that, and I must remind you that Hitler made the same claims. History is only doomed to repeat if we choose to ignore it and learn nothing from what has already come about.
